I'm thrilled to announce that I planted 3 -- yes, count em, 3 -- boxes in the California Bay Area. What do I need to do to get them posted to the L-USA web page?

Linda

Palo Alto is the home of Stanford University and the birthplace of Silicon Valley. Once a quiet little town, its now a upscaled little city of high rolling techies and those of us just trying to get along.

While youre in Palo Alto, you might want to lunch at our downtown area (University Avenue) or shop at Stanford Shopping Center, one of the best (Im told) shopping centers in the world. Just remember to bring your plastic!

I planted all 3 boxes in Bol Park. Bol Park is in Barron Park, a pocket neighborhood in Palo Alto. The park was named after Dr. Cornelis Bol, previous owner of the land. This park is a gem of a park bounded by Gunn High School and the Veterans Administration Hospital.

To get to the park from Highway 101, follow these directions:

You contact the web monkey and the servant of L-USA, Dan Servatius.
Hey, that's me!

In that case here:
See http://www.pclink.com/elf/ca.htm
or go to http://www.letterbpoxing.org/ and click on California on
the right-hand U.S. map.

Nice letterboxes, nice to see California darkened in. Mary Ellen
Foley was contemplating putting a box there for so long but then
out of the blue one day she dropped out. So Linda got to be the
first. You go Linda!
